Mercedes Oak-Garcia

Henry's wife back in his world. Ecuadorean-American woman, radio host of the Rock Block of Bach on KPSC. Mother to Henry's two beautiful boys, Lark and Sparrow. Mercedes was the person who first found Henry when he was transported from the Forgotten Realms to Earth, and was wandering through the forest, lost, naked, and without his memories.

Lark & Sparrow Oak-Garcia

Henry's two beautiful boys. The twins are twelve years old, and love to fight, yell, and play soccer. Sparrow is the gentler twin, who considers himself a "Love Wolf," following in his father's image in his quest for peace, love, and understanding. Lark, while he is fully dedicated to his brother and his friends, holds a grudge against Henry ever since Henry drew the Rogue card from the Deck of Many Things. From Lark's perspective, he resents Henry for leaving the boys and Walter alone, which led to bounty hunters attacking them, and Walter sacrificing his legs and ending up in a wheelchair.

The Dads

Darryl Wilson, Glenn Close, and Ron Stampler started out as just the fathers of the other boys on Lark and Sparrow's soccer team. Over the course of their journeys in the Forgotten Realms, Henry grew to appreciate and even respect the other dads' parenting styles and way of lives.

Autumn Oak

Henry's mother, a human cleric. Although she was entranced by Barry Oak's teachings as a yonger woman, after she was relegated into siring Barry's heir, she began to resent both her husband and her son. She was relieved when Henry managed to break free of Barry's clutches, and was devastated to see him back in Oakvale. However, once it became clear that he was there to defeat Barry, Autumn gladly joined in the battle with her weaponized knitting needles.

Barry Oak

Also known as Bear'Ry Oak. The son of Hildy Russet, husband of Autumn, and father of Hen'Ry Oak. Barry founded the druid community of Oakvale around the place where his mother entered the Forgotten Realms, and dedicated his life to reopening a portal to Earth. Barry can be described as something of a “Self Care Psychopath.” Barry raised Henry with the hopes he would become his perfect heir, but has always been disappointed in Henry's many perceived flaws. Along with Willie Stampler and Bill Close, Barry is one of the “Omega Daddies.”
